Winter Hair - Deep Conditioning With Peppermint and Melalueca Essential Oils

It's mid March in the Okanogan Highlands of Washington State. It's getting warm rather quickly so our 2 feet of snow is melting fast creating our "spring thaw." Spring thaw got me thinking on how my hair has gotten so dry over the winter. I stopped using heating tools (hair dryer or flat iron)
early in the season to avoid further damage to my hair. However, spring is almost here and my hair is ultra dry. Since my introduction to
dōTERRA® essential oils, I've started to deep condition my hair.

dōTERRA® essential oils are conveniently delivered to my door. I decided to try out their long list of DIY projects. My favorite is the DIY projects for the hair. No research involved. No surfing the net. The DIY projects are already outlined for me with easy to follow recipes! How wonderful is that?
Get Yours Today!

I'm trying out the DIY projects and recipes and the best one that works for my hair is the DIY: Homemade Hot Oil Hair Treatment. It's excellent for my scalp and my hair totally loves it! You need peppermint and melalueca or rosemary essential oils as well as a few teaspoonfuls of olive, jojoba, and coconut oil. Since I  have dry winter hair right now, I'm giving myself hot oil treatments at least once a week. I urge you to try the DIY hair project. Your hair will thank you for it! I love the tingly feeling peppermint gives my scalp so much that mid week if I have extra time, I'll rub peppermint oil onto my scalp before shampooing. I just hang tight and look out our window and enjoy the Buckhorn Mountain sunrise. Now, that's a good morning!
